Leadership

Benjamin was born and raised in Everett, Washington. After six years of drug abuse and addiction, his life was radically transformed when meeting Jesus while behind bars at the Snohomish County Jail. From the moment of this initial encounter, Ben’s life has been marked by experiencing the real power of our real God. Soon after meeting Jesus, Ben began serving in various ministry roles, including an assisting role with the Mill Creek Foursquare Church Internship and an associate role with Ignite Global Ministries. After receiving his Bachelor’s degree in Biblical Studies and Pastoral Leadership, Ben came on staff at Mill Creek Foursquare Church in Mill Creek, Washington as the Young Adult Pastor. During this time, he also participated in the Foursquare Church Planting Cohort. In September of 2015, Ben transitioned into a role as the Lead Pastor of South Everett Foursquare Church. After two and a half years at the helm, Jesus called him and his family to South East Idaho. In July of 2018, the Ramos family made the move to Rigby, ID. After a transition year, they became senior pastor of what is now Rise Church in 2019.
 
Alicia is also a licensed Pastor alongside her husband, Benjamin, who desires to love and serve the people of Idaho Falls with the love of Jesus! Ben and Alicia have been serving in ministry together since 2011 where they met  while serving in a Discipleship Internship with Ignite Global Ministries.  Alicia also participated in the Foursquare Church Planting Cohort prior to being called to SouthEast Idaho. When not pastoring or homeschooling their five children; Zadok, Grace, Ezriella, Adaliah and Hannah, she also works part time as a triage Registered Nurse. The Ramos family serves Rise with faith and expectation to see God do a radical work in South Eastern Idaho Region!
